Milwaukee Armature
Model Number: 16-10-0120
The Milwaukee 16-10-0120 is a genuine OEM Armature for use in compatible Milwaukee corded tools. The armature is the rotating component of a universal (brushed) motor — the complete assembly of laminated steel core, copper windings, commutator segments, and shaft that generates torque by interacting with the stationary field assembly. Carbon brushes transfer current to the armature windings through contact with the commutator, sustaining motor rotation throughout tool operation. An armature that has failed due to burnt or open windings, worn commutator segments, or shaft damage causes loss of power, excessive sparking, vibration, or complete motor failure — requiring replacement to restore full, safe motor performance.
Using a genuine Milwaukee OEM armature ensures the correct winding specification, commutator dimensions, and shaft geometry for the motor it serves. Always verify your catalog number and serial number on Milwaukee’s website before ordering to confirm this is the correct armature for your specific unit.
